The Sunshine Pet Care team is passionate about providing the absolute best care for your pets while you are working or traveling. Our pet sitting professionals are committed to providing your fur kids with the love and attention they need and deserve while you're away.
Owner and Chief Animal Cuddler, Ann-Marie (Annie) Dori, has felt a special connection with animals her entire life. Annie has shared her home with rescued cats since she graduated from college and has been caring for dogs of family, friends, and neighbors for as long as she can remember. For five years, she worked as a part-time dog nanny, and volunteers regularly with several animal rescues.
Annie’s love of animals led her to dedicate her career to working in various capacities for non-profit organizations that focus on helping animals. While she found this rewarding, in the fall of 2023, Annie decided she wanted to spend her days surrounded by happy, pampered, already-rescued animals. Through word of mouth, Sunshine Pet Care became so busy in its first six months, that Annie started to build a small, dedicated team of animal lovers to bring quality pet sitting services to more families in Norfolk and Virginia Beach.
Annie is passionate about traveling, scuba diving, live music, volunteering to help animals and the environment, and any activity that gets her outside in the sunshine. Annie and her husband have lived in East Ocean View for 10 years and share their home with four cherished rescue kitties.
OUR SERVICES
DOG WALKS & PET SITTING
We offer 30, 45 or 60 minute pet sitting visits with a flat fee regardless of the number of animals. With each visit, we will cater to your animals needs as outlined in our initial consultation, ensuring they are as happy as possible while under our care!
WALKS & VISITS: $25-$45
OVERNIGHTS & 24 HOUR CARE
We offer 24-hour care, and overnights from 9pm-8am or 5pm-8am. These options are perfect for pets who need extra companionship or clients who desire added home security. Overnights include extra walks, potty breaks, cuddle and playtime.
HOUSESITTING: $85-$150
PET TAXI
Don't let a busy schedule or last-minute meeting keep you from missing an appointment for your animal. Our pet taxi service is here to help you get your pet to their vet or grooming appointment without the hassle of rescheduling!
TRANSPORTATION: $25-45
